Similar to IMATS, the Phameexpo show will be held at the Pasadena, CA convention center on 6/28-6/29/13. Phameexpo is a two day event for the Professional Hair & Makeup association. There will be hairstylists, makeup artists and of course you will have the opportunity to SHOP!

24Hour Fitness in Anaheim, California is having a Zumba Fitness Party in Pink event on 10/18/13 to benefit the Susan G. Koman cancer foundation. In order to participate you must make your donation online at

Revlon's Run/Wal For Women
ARE YOU READY?
Saturday 5/11/13, Revlon will host their annual RUN/WALK for Cancer event. This event occurs near the USC campus in the Los Angeles area.
This is an intense event. I attended this event last year and I didn't think I was going to have that much fun that early in the morning , but I did.
Here'a tip, wear someting pink! This event is a "girl" power event, and almost everyone had on something pink. As I saw on a t-shirt last year, "big or small, save them all." By the way, this is a breast cancer event, so that quote is funnier now that you get it.
If you plan ahead, you can make a team, and invite people to make a donation on behalf of your team on line. Most teams also dress alike for this event. There many other ways to participate such as, volunteering, or run/walk in memory of someone that has passed from cancer.
I walked in memory of my grandmother last year.
At the end of this event, you will see a line of drummers cheering you in the final lap, and as you enter the football stadium, you will be cheered in and given a medal by a Fireman cadet for your participation. At the end you will receive a snack and water. Many people rest on the grass and enjoy the band playing on the stage at the end. You will also receive a gift bag and a
t-shirt from this event. The sponsors also have booth that you can visit and play games to win a prize and there are also many other free gifts and other items that you can purchase.
And if that's not enough, there are also a few celebrities there to cheer you on your way!
I can guarntee you will never forgert this experience.
