Special Shout out - LaLaque, LeMatte - Loreal's New Pencil Lipstick Limited Edition

 

 
 
Hey guys,
 
Loreal has released some limited edition twist tube lipstick pencils.  These new lipsticks come in a slendarized, lipgloss twist and turn format, and are available in 8 fabulous colors; four matte colors and four glossy colors.

The colors range from a nude, pinky natural nude, brownie nude, muted red and shiny red colors and a bright pinky purple.  The le-matte colors are velvety smooth and don't dry out your lips.  The la-laque colors are silky smooth and have a natural glossy finish; as if you applied lipgloss on top.  Both versions are full coverage.

Fall is just around the corner and that means we get to mix up the colors in our wardrobe and in our makeup.  Lancome has launched their fall 2013 L'Absolu Desir makeup collection to suit the many moods of a woman.

Maybeline - Color Tattoo "Pure Pigment" Eyeshadow

Hey guys,

Maybeline has released their version of loose powder pigment eyeshadows.  There are 12 amazing shades ranging from neutrals to vibranst jewel toned colors.  Buyer be ware, some of these pigments have a glittery finish and some of them set in a semi-matte finish.  i believe these eyeshadows need to be applied with a eyeshadow base just so that the true color of the eyeshadow lasts and appears vibrant all day and all night.


 
 
 
The pigments eyeshadows come in a sifter style continer that helps control the amount of eyeshadow that you shake out on to the lid of the container.  Like all other loose powders and eyeshadows, it can be a little messy, but just remember "less is more."  I've found that if I shake just a little on the lid at a time, I can always shake out more if I need to intensify the application of the eyeshadow.

When I try a new eyeshadow, I often start when a neutral color for my skin tone to see if it's even worth it to try the other colors that a makeup line has.  This option allows me too judge the price and overall quality of the product.  If you would like to try a loose pigment eyeshadow, the Maybeline loose pigments are a budget friendly quality eyeshadow.
 
Get out of your same old makeup routine!  You don't have to wear a bold color to get a new look.  You can easily create a refreshed look by trying the same color with a different texture and finish.

Maybeline has a new foundation, that is perferct for travel and it's easy to use. Maybeline's new Fit Me Shine Free stick foundation is a solid "gel" stick, with an anti-shine center core that has powders to absorb excess oil and mattify your makeup.  It's moisturzing, it's lightweight, and it blends easily.



Stick foundations are usually known for being heavy and difficult to blend, but I love this foundation because it's purse friendly, touch up friendly, travel friendly and budget friendly.  Available in 12 shades, Maybeline's new shine free stick foundation takes away the mess of foundation by being in a solid form.  It also applies very easily and feels velvety smooth on your face.  This foundation provides light to medium coverage and sets on your skin with a light weigt, semi-matte finish.

Lip balms have come a long way.  Say goodbye to unattractive chapsticks in boring packaging.  Today's lip balms are fancy and way more expensive, but they're quaint in concept.  Covergirl's Jumbo Gloss Balm is just one of the fancy new options that are currently available to keep your lips moisturized and sultry looking.

Covergirl's jumbo lip balm moisturizes your lips with shea and mango butter, while providing your lips with a wonderful wash of sheer color.  You can build the color intensity of the lip balm by adding more layers of the balm, but it will never produce the opaque look that a lipstick, or a highly pigmented lipgloss does; which is a what makes these "tinted" lip balms unique.  I like Covergirl's jumbo lip balms because they're not greasy, and it produces a natural looking color that isn't super shiny.
