Conceal to Reveal - You're Inner Supermodel!

Concealer

Hey guys,

If you want to take your makeup look to the "next" level, then concealer is a must!  Finding the right concealer to top off your look is easy.  Concealers range in color, just like foundations, so there is definitely a concealer that is right for you.  Even if you don't wear makeup, there's a good chance your look could benefit from a concealer touch up.

Here are some tips for selecting a concealer that's right for you.

First, determine the level of coverage that you need.  In other words, do you just want to cover a pimple or freckles?  If this is the case, then you would probably like a creamy concealer that can be applied with the ease of your fingertips such as, MAC Studio Finish, NYX concealer in a jar, or Loreal's infalliable stick concealer.  If you need to conceal dark circles and/or any other major blemishes, then you may benefit from trying a thicker concealer, and/or a color correcting concealer.  You can find a color correctiong concealer that will neutralize dark circles and minimize redness at your local drugstore, or in highend department stores.  Physician's Formula, Ben Nye, Bobbi Brown, Dermablend, Maybeline, Loreal, MAC, Avon, BH Cosmetics, Mary Kay, Revlon, IMAN, Esteee Lauder, Chanel, Laura Mercier, Benefit and Lancome are just some of the cosmetics lines that have color correcting concealers that can meet your budgetary needs.

If your wear a light foundation, it's a good idea to pair that with a light concealer to produce an even and flawless finish.  The same rule applies if you wear a medium-to-full coverage foundation.  Match the coverage level of your foundation with the coverage level of your concealer.  You can color correct, and then blend your look with a smooth and refined concealer that matches your skin shade.  Ultimately, concealer can top off your makeup by creating a revived and youthful appeal.

So, if you didn't get all the "beauty sleep" that you needed the night before because you were up...I don't know blogging...lol...just add a little CONCEALER for a well rested look.
